English Seminar
For research results to be evaluated accurately internationally, skills to present and discuss research
results in international conferences are crucial. The "Ability to debate in English" in international
conferences is especially important in Western culture, where presenting research results fairly are evaluated.
Therefore, making young researchers acquire skills to effectively present their research results is
considered to be one of the important objectives of this COE project. From this point of view, we planned
English seminars to train young researchers, especially graduate students, practical English skills, namely debating skills in English.
